i have an old long 445 4wd tractor the front tires are 7.50 x 20. i poked a hole in one yesterday and was surprised to find out that no one has them or can get them. any ideas on where i might find this size tire?
thanks bryan

Lots of old truck tires were 7.50x20. Your probably not looking for that type of tread though.

wow thanks for the responses. i looked at coker and miller but didnt see a tire that looks like the ones i have i dont know what you call them but they look like the rear tires with diagonal ribs that point toward each other in the center of the tire.
thanks bryan

I may have one in the old tire bin. Just kicked it out the way this afternoon. I'll look later and maybe take a picture to post.

If you can't find one anywhere else, you can send me (or post) a pic of the tread pattern. I can look at some of the dealers here (Germany). The size is common, just need to see the tread pattern. Just a quick look and the price range is compareable to what was posted below, just postage would be added. If you aren't close to NY, which is where postage rates are figured for my address, it may not be interesting. Let me know if I can help.

My first call in this situation is for vulcanizing. Last year I got a 13.6-16 vulcanized for $40. A while back, a 13.6-24 had a gash completely through one of the lugs and the tube was bulging out. Vulcanizing that one cost me more than $40 of course but I still had matching tires and it looked and performed as good as before the damage. The tread pattern you're describing is called "chevron". If you go to your local tractor dealers and ask for "chevron" or "front wheel assist" (fwa) tires, they might be able to get them for you. Perhaps most tire companies don't get enough demand for this size tire to catalog them. If you can use a 4-ply tire as used on spreaders, etc. you might check out this one at Gempler's.

a goodyear dealer here fixed it for me for now. he patched it from the inside and put in a new tube. it will work for now but ill have to find new ones sometime
