What in the..... Stinkweed ????

New one on me, this is in my neighborhood, ought to be interesting, stuff does grow well and I try to mow it before it seeds, always wondered if any of these weeds had any potential, golden rod can or was researched and I believe can be used to make rubber. The things you read in the news.

Well, if marijuana makes people high, why can't stinkweed make fuel?

I also see where this chap has reduced his blood pressure to 120/75 which he will no doubt sell the secret although your Doctor would also know, however a report out this week claims that if your diastolic is over 70 and you are in the upper[ over 50, I think] age bracket then you could, that is could, be at greater risk of having an attack.
But the important thing is ...Don't neglect the signs when your body speaks to you.

A further report on the airwaves is that a Mark Winslow, Agticultural Research ,Washington is experimenting with the extraction of ethanol from sorghum and looks promising, should be a nice little earner for a few farmers but the cows may not like it.

Ha ha, this is true, but you have to wonder, say this plant had similar value, cannabis was rumored to have been a threat to oil, industry etc. and was subsequently made illegal with behind the scenes influence, not so much for the "high" part of it, but for the raw material, some interesting reading on it, I've seen similar stories about it. Would not be good if society was lethargic and had the munchies from smoking it, a little education and some moderation would be best here, but say the less THC potent variety like what grows wild in Kansas, was put to use for fiber, pulp and oil, you would think this raw material could do a lot of good.

Trolley cars also went this route, GM and other big MFR's wanted to build and sell buses, which effectively forced trolley cars to be a thing of the past, bus MFR's and fuel (oil companies) certainly go together, kind of self evident, one can just imagine the influence on things by large corporations in the past and now.

Kind of interesting, just one county north of this one, be great to be known as the stinkweed capitol of the world
