I have what I was told is a Ford 3600 and it looks like the pictures. Long story but trying to confirm if it is really a 3600 and what year was it built. I have the following info from it Unit Number "1JC4B " and tractor number is "C677875" and model is "CA2130". Any help is would be greatly appreciated. Thanks BobK

The info is sketchy and here is how it states Diesel tractor with live 540 pto with 8spd transmission, power steering, roll bar and deluxe seat, live hydraulic system with double acting draft control tires are 6.00-16 fronts and 13.6-28 rears weight is 3986lbs.
Major options gas and diesel add or deduct
2B 6spd tranny and tranny pto
2K 6X4 spd tranny and tranny pto
A2 diff lock
DD Cab with A/C, 1806 lbs.
D7 Flat top fenders
K1 single spool control valve
a CN series is narrow front end
a CV series is vineyard style
CX is narrow row orchard
That is what my book says.

Thanks for the info, What type of book are you looking at? Hopeing maybe to get something via the Library.

National Farm and power equipment dealers assoc. 1983 edition kind of like the auto NADA blue book the ones the banks use for loan value. It's the last edition when I left the farm equipment business. You have to be a member to get one and now they're on CD. I would go to the Ford tractor forum and someone there probably can help I worked at a Ford tractor dealership in my last year of the Air Force in Va. and there is a method to their number coding system but I don't remember that's been 37 years ago. Good Luck CT
