silage bales

I was taking inventory last night and discoverd that about 75% of my bales had holes in them.The crows had holes all over each bale. anyone have a trick to stop this?

Crows get the hint pretty quick if you kill a few.

They won't be back in range for years.

Hang one up or stack the bales 2 high on end...
Either way works.
I'd suggest stacking the bales first though as there are a lot of other pests that get at the bales and poke holes in them too.
Break out the duct tape to cover the holes you have.
