OT sattelite

Are there any large sattelites that orbit from north to south? Shortly after sundown I saw a light pass overhead in a straight line from north to south. No blinking & no sound. UFO?

Get on google and look for the international space station path. Sometimes it comes across at quite an angle. I'll look after this post.

Check out heavensabove dot com. You can put in your location and get a report of what's flying overhead soon. Could be a reflection off a satellite. They are actually kinda fun to look for.

You aren't around california are you. I just checked. It came up over from the south pacific going northeast and crossed east to west at the US/Canada border before cutting southeast over the Atlantic.

Must be a UFO. Guess we'll have to wait for the aliens to land. Time to lock & load.

A few months ago my wife and I went to Fort Fisher one evening and as we drove up a man stopped us and pointed to two lights in the sky. As it turned out, it was the space shuttle following the space station. We must have happened along at just the right time because it only lasted a minute or two. It was an interesting sight, and it was moving south to north.

Yes, there are spacecraft in polar orbits.
