Harvest has come to a stand still. The rain moved in just before noon today. The forecast is for rain for the next couple days. Its good to have a few minutes to catch up on things but it would have been nice to keep rolling. We'll get back going pretty quick after the weather clears.

A few sprinkles on the windshield, have dealt with this a couple days recently. The guys cutting beans have been having trouble finding good days to run. Todays rain is more than a sprinkle.

The 3020 got pressed into service when the generator on the 4010 locked up. Covered with bird poo and feed dust, it still got the job done.

The sun clears the horizon and shines down on Trivoli township for another day.

Nice, thanks.

Here in southern MN, we are runningt out of time, got an inch of rain, little more forcast for tomorrow.

Corn is not drying down, now the ground is not dry, and forcast is for highs not making 50 degrees, maybe a little white stuff coming soon.

Many of us have barely started corn. See a few bean fields left out there.

Could get interesting.

You posted some beautiful pics there, Bill. I worked on the family owned farm that we rent out for a couple of years to help out and helped pick peanuts on into the night while a bit of a breeze kept the moisture down. Right now in southeastern Va., we're getting a little bit of frost early in the A.M. and then the guys are out trying to get all the peanuts/corn/cotton picked. The bean crop looks to be good in a lot of places that got rain at the right time. Went by one field coming home this afternoon that had five or six full size cotton modules ready to go to the gin. Hope ya'll can get it all in and not lose anything.

Beautiful pics, here in Ontario the harvest is all done and jack frost has visited us several cold nights.Deer are rutting so looks like a early winter.Mother earth needs her rest so we can all start over in the spring.Sure hope next year brings less strife for our world.

Actually, he's not too far from Lasalle Co. I don't believe. I grew up in Lee county but was born and spent a few of my first years in Lasalle Co. Lostant and Cedar Point but I was too tiny to remember.
