The policy of the United States has been redistribution of wealth since the graduated income tax of the 16th Amendment of 1913. In the Presidential election of 1912, Wilson, Taft, and T. Roosevelt all advocated that the Amendment be adopted. The bill proposing the amendment was signed by the nnalert Taft(no flaming abundant]. I haven't seen many right wingers sending their Social Security checks and Medicare payments back to the government!
Where did you get the notion that Social Security to retirees was redistribution of wealth. Social Security is a forced contribution of wages to fund Social programs and only a portion sent to the seniors it was forcibly removed from for there retirement.
It was amended to cover all types of redistribution to people that was not retired. You aint seen nothing yet.

Hey Dick, what happens (just a matter of time, but not in our lifetime) when the working people and the small business owners say, "Enough, already, we're not sending you (Federal Gov't) any more of our money". The first 10,000, they're gonna lock up; maybe the first 100,000; but what about when it's 10,000,000 or 50,000,000?

I have met the man personally a few years back at my one uncles funeral As my one uncle was his Dr. and up until my dad said something to me that you know him , and my response was I DO . Dad says yes you spent a bunch of time talking with him at uncle Bob calling hours and at the wake afterwards . Said to dad well shows ya how much he impressed me i forgot all about him.

We all keep wondering why all the stuff is made in China now, well it will only get worse. Companies are leaving the US because of Unions and Union wages, Excess taxes, OSHA, permits, fees, Medicare tax, SS tax, Health care for employees, zillions of state, local, and federal laws and rules to comply with, and the list goes on and on.
Move the factory to China or Mexico and all this goes away. Worker gets killed on the job in China, they only got about a Billon more to step into his shoes, plus no plaintiff lawer is going to sue the factory.
America is running off all the business. And it will only get worse. Sociallism has been proven by history to not work, (China will eventually fail also), but guess we'll have to break the nation to re-prove it.
