About as deep as I can go

This is the 4th pass over the wet spot. Went over it 2 times with the guage wheels on, a little deeper each time. Went in and took the wheels off, lowered the lift links about 4". The tines barely clear the ground when raised all the way. Lift arms aren't bottomed out, but close to it. I think I'm about 18 to 20" deep. Hope this helps next year. Chris

Have you tried a subsoiler? maybe a 3 or 4 shank watch for field tile though and that will slow that old girl down those shanks have too much flex in them the subsoiler will hold a true 20 to 24", IMHO

I have no idea about farming but am trying to learn. What happens by digging up the wet spot? Help to get evaporation to dry it?

I understand, they used to be a dime a dozen years ago but I suppose when metal prices went up they disappeared. I use to see them all over the place sitting in fence rows lots of iron. When I was a dealer AC called it the Oxnard tools used mostly in rice country made in Oxnard Ca. probably some in La. and Ark. It's a shame because I know I've seen several in my travels. If you have a DMI dealer maybe they can help.

I'm trying to break up the hard pan underneath so the water will drain away instead of standing on the surface. Chris
