Just bought a 2000 F350 dually that has a 3" lift on it. The origanal owner put the factory 16" size tires back on before he sold it and now I am looking for sugestion on what size tire I should put on it. Any help would be appreciated.

you want a taller tire but the problem is they will touch on the side wall and cause overheating and eventually tire failure. There is a kit that you can get to space the rims apart so that you can put the larger tires on it. If you are going to put new rims on it I think they have addressed this issue and offset the wheels a bit.

You might be better off in the long run to take that 3" lift kit off and put the truck back to stock height. Unless you R-E-A-L-L-Y need the that lift, heck those trucks sit tall enough the way it is. By the time you buy tires at $150.00 ea, rims with different offsets, special wheel spacers that someone else mentioned, is it really worth it?

If you want to put something fancy and unique get a set of super singles and 22" rism for it. LOL.

Do you want the truck for show or is the truck going to be a working truck?

Lumpy is right, the F250 & F350 trucks are already plenty high enough with the factory suspension. I have to use a 6" drop receiver hitch to get my trailer anywhere near level. Why add another 3 inches to that? If it was mine, I'd remove the lift kit and save myself some money.
