Anyone familar with a Howard Backhoe?

There is a 3pt one coming up at an auction this weekend. For the little use, it doesn"t make sense for me to get a standard TLB.

Right now I rent a mini-excavator and knock out all of the work in a weekend or two. I just think if I have a hoe, I might get a little more done then waiting once a year.

Somewhere on this website just a few days ago I wrote about the "Howard Power Arm" dad bought new circa 40 years ago. Orange in color, it was made in Britain. It had it's own PTO powered hyd. system. It never gave us any trouble. Certainly limited in reach and power-I agree-having it(or any machine for that matter)available full time you'll find many ways to use it and jobs to get done.
