Farmall C engine

Does anyone know if there are any larger pistons that would fit in a C motor that are bigger than Super C pistons. Either with or without sleeves. thanks Bob

It depends on the block you have. Pretty well all C's can be taken out to 3-3/16" bore (from 3"). If you found the right block (you'd have to post on the Farmall board to get the correct part No.) you could take it to 3-1/4". Alternatively you could swap in a true c-135 engine or a c-153. Depends on how serious you want to get. Sam

If yours is a C block you can go to 3 1/8 without machining. Now you can bore the block so it will take 3 1/4 then with the 3 1/4 you will have 135cu in. The 3 1/8 gives you 123 cu in. How many horses are you looking for as there is more HP avail if ya wants to spend the $$$$

A C153 will bolt to the torque tube but at the front of the engine it gets stcky. water bump, thermostat housing, manifold maybe. There was a post the other day about this. Don't recall what day or which board.
