*
Assembly Bill 3211, sponsored by State Assemblywoman Patricia Eddington (D-3), would prohibit the sale use or possession of .50 caliber firearms;
*

*
Assembly Bill 3477, sponsored by State Assemblyman Karim Camara (D-43), expands the ballistic imaging program to include additional firearms;
*
Assembly Bill 3510, sponsored by State Assemblyman Michael Gianaris (D-36), would prohibit concealed vehicular compartments, barring SUV's or autos without trunks, from installing safes or compartments in which to secure firearms; and,
*
Assembly Bill 3561, sponsored by State Assemblyman N. Nick Perry (D-58), would require pistol licensees to obtain liability insurance.

Please contact your State Assembly Member today at (518) 455-4100 and respectfully urge him or her to vote "NO" on these NRA-opposed measures.

No gunshows, NYSP has carte blanche to ban what they want.....well I'll save my thoughts on some of those proposed bills, we do need to raise some h$ll about this, only the beginning if they get started. It's hard to recognize that these people represent us and work to yield for the common good. I think it would be hilarious if we all just went for our FFL's, just flood the system with legit applications, these people want to restrict, be interesting to see if there were any other ways to outflank em using current laws, ballistic imaging, ok might help the PD people but the rest... not good.

This whole gun ban is just plain stupid.They banned drugs and oh yea that is working real well. They banned Beer that didn't work. I was in the Navy and went to countries where you could not even think of owning a gun. Yet on any corner you could buy guns. DC has the most restricted gun ban in the world and it is not working.Just another waste of tax payer money.

The US Supreme court shot down DCs anti-gun law. Most likely will do the same with a lot of other cities as the NHRA gets to them.

=================================================

Supreme Court has ruled DC's laws unconstitutional but they are still enforcing it there and in other parts of the country (like Detroit). Seems like if you're a abundant you don't have to listen to the Supreme Court unless it fits your agenda.

Maybe these proposals are legislative reactions to Governor Patterson being placed on the Kennedy hit list...remember Mary Jo Kapecnic? Crossing Teddy is like spitting against the wind, it's just something one doesn't do.

This is the beginning of the abundant agenda that has been stewing on the back burner for the last 8 years.

E-vil guns, Fag marriages, illegal aliens, free abortions, and the poor terrorists have been on their list all this time and they will waste no time or effort to impose their wishes on the masses. Such is life under Socialism. Of course, in exchange for all these wonderful things, the people have to pay more taxes and be willing to surrender their Liberties to the Government.

The Communists preached their version of Marxism to the Russian peasants until even they began to believe it was true. And as it is obvious, the Left wing nnalert Party has done the same thing with their minions in the USA. It all begins with "for the Good of the Working Class". It"s GD shame we have to share the air with these fools.

Sorry, I thoghut the admendent was the right to bear arms, not to keep arms. But the right to keep arms suits me!

hey , thanks for the info... I just called my State Assemblyman Jim Bacalles in the Yates County area and gave him my thoughts on the bill to require pistol permit holders to obtain liability insurance... what a farce !!!! Perhaps all gun holders should be required to do the same ? Don't all firearms have bullets ? And can't all sportman be held liable for negligence already ?? Everyone should get on these bills and stop wasting tax payers money with such foolish nonsense... JIm
