What did the corn rake bring on the auction. Was there other sheller equipment on the sale and what did that bring. Armand

armand, the ear corn auger brought 25 dollars, the dang engine ran good. they had 2 hand crank corn shellers, dont know what they brought. the super mta brought 3950, the m in pieces brought 225. the massey 101 twin power brougt 1050. 826 ih w/german diesel, 3250, 1486 ih w cab in the mid 7k, a 4630 deere, dual, cab, 4000hrs only brought mid 13k's. i got my 14t deere baler for 300, the 24t went in the mid 600's.

Thankyou for your reply. I have a Puesey(sp.?) Bros. paddle chain and a twin-augor with extension(extension has never been used) but no single-augor. Should have given you a bid for me as the engine would have been worth $25 or $30. Oh well. I have a truck mounted Cook sheller and a couple of pto. trailor mountet John Deere shellers. Hope to take one of them to a show or two this summer. Armand

you should have given me a shout, i would have bought it for you. i was trying to get a hold of rrlund, to see if he wanted it, but didnt hear back from him, he was looking for an easier way to unload ear corn from his crib. not sure where he lives at , but we could of had a relay race to get the auger cross country for him!!!! would have been kind of fun!!!

hey rrlund, i will keep my eyes open for another one for you, there are two more consignment auctions coming up, one in hinkley and the big one in morris. if i see one, i will grab it for you...cheap!!!!!! where abouts you at, i gotta start figuring transport out to ya!!!!!

I'm in mid Michigan. Somebody posted a phone number,said they had one. I checked the area code. It was western Iowa. If I could get it within 150 miles or so,say the sale yard at Archbold Ohio or Shipsawanna,I'd take it. But much as I hate shoveling corn,I don't know about driving all the way out there for one.
