Did you hear about the russian and american satelites crashing into each other? Must be why I lost RFD TV for a few days(true story).

i heard about it, i thought those were sattelite phone satelites, the us one was supposed to be replaced within about 30 days by "one of our orbiting spares" i dont know what the ruskies are going to do

Not unless you were getting RFDTV from an Iridium satellite. All the DirecTV and DISH programming comes via geosynchronous birds at orbits of about 20000 miles. The Iridium bird was at around 500 miles, only twice as far out as the Space Shuttle.
