Ford is around 1.00 per share.Co-worker said he bought 5000 shares.Ford didnt take any bailout money.Harley is ten a share.When is anyone gonna start buying?
 
I can put it this way.

If you put in $5000, you almost cant lose at that buying price. I have a pile of money in GM notes and 400 shares of common stock. Gm is in bad shape. I made money from Ford stock 2 times in the last 15 years. **remember--dont get greedy**. sell at $2.50 or something.

But like you said Ford didnt take the welfare money. But.....They may still need a handout.

The only way to make the economy grow is to cut taxes....The only real way.
 
I'm seriously thinking of taking a plunge on both Ford and GM. Only as much as I can afford to lose though. Hard to build up the confidence to invest when the govt keeps interfering in the market. You never know what the rules are gonna be next week.

BTW, I have a friend who is a pretty savvy investor. He says he uses me as a negative indicator. If I buy something, he knows for sure it's gonna lose money...
 
start out with a large one. There is still areas in the market that need reform. Go to the Yahoo Finance message board on GERN and read the posts by NYMARKETWIZ ,he is in the loop and can explain some of the shady areas of the market.
 
We must have the same friend? He started with zitch and now is rich. Sezs you have to follow a surefire plan, I am it.
 
Check out Cat, Deere, and CNH. All of them are kicked in the head right now. One of these days people are going to realize that people have to keep eating. That and people will start building stuff again. I got back into Cat too high, but right now it and CNH are at or near 52 week lows.
