Electronic ignition on my tractor

The JD fellas have been really helpful.
I want to go with the electronic ignition on my JD 3010--Some info.

Have went from positive grd. to negative ground.
Replaced Generator with an Alternator.

Anyone know of the brand to use for a 3010 JD that is now Negative ground and with an Alternator.
Probably go with a new coil also.
If you have a name brand and part number that would be great.

See if Pertronix has a unt for your tractor. Google them on the web.

I have used Pertronix systems for years. Very easy to install and a great product.

Before you go to the pertronix website, get the number off your Delco dist. Then when you match that to a Pertronix unit, make sure you go to negative grd. When you get the unit #, try looking in YT parts and compare prices. Good luck.

I tried looking here at YT but can't find where the electronic ignition stuff is located.
Found the 12 volt conversion things.

HOW do you know it's a Delco?

IIRC, they used some Prestolites and maybe even a few WICO's
