oliver 77 ser. # ?????????????

I have an oliver 77, I'm tring to figure out the ser. #B331911 C-77-D. I see some blue paint under the green. What is it? Thanks brian

Do you just want the year or are you trying to decode everything? The 331911 makes it a 1950 model year. The "blue" is just what the original paint tended to fade into. Must have been repainted at one time or another.

Don't know what the B is. I always assumed the C77D was the type of fuel. HC high compression gas engine, but wouldn't swear to it. Pretty sure mine ends in the same thing. Somebody on the Oliver forum might know if nobody here does.

I don't know. There weren't any build cards for the Fleetlines,so I've never heard what those old codes were.
