Moving a couple of truck boxes....how?

Hey guys, wondering if anyone has ever dealt with moving a box truck body , filled with jeep junk and tractor parts....I am moving from my upstate NY place to Texas, and there are three old, non running box trucks in NY that I can pull the boxes off and stuff full of my junk...I beleive they will be a bit too heavy for any of my tandem axle trailers so would need to hire a flatbed or whatever to haul. problem is loading and unloading them without hiring a big crane at both ends....I have two 24 footers and a 20 footer... and enough stuff to fill them all.

Any suggestions for loading or transporting them welcome.. I was going to hire AFP and use their trailers but I got thinking hey, I already own my own "pods" if I can only get them hauled....

Well., a rollback is cool but the cost to pay someone to move it with their rollback 2000 miles would be pretty high.. I suppose I could lift it onto a flatbed trailer with a rollback and some pipe rollers tho..

How much weight??..as much as I can get away with legally... At least two jeeps or a tractor and a bunch of body panels and tubs..

Sell the junk and the boxes and start all over again.

You would need a roll back to haul them.

Can you get a couple fork lifts to pick them up on each side? Then back the flat bed under it. I don't know. I'm just brain stormin.

put the boxes up on blocks (when empty) the height needed for the trailer to clear, then back trailer under them when loaded & jack'em down. Couple 6x8 or 7x9 crossties 8 1/2 ft. long should do. Once they're on the trailer the ends can be sawn off to bed width. When you get there, jack'em up & slide longer ties under'em, build your blocks up, jack'em up & slide long ties under.

On the way through Ohio you can drop the jeep parts off at my house, thus saving hauling all that weight to texas. On a more serious side, maybe you can get a large rollback to haul each container to a more suitable loading site on each end of your trip?

mainly 42- 48 flatfender stuff, a cj7, and a couple of cherokees, tho they'll be sold , not shipped. I'm on several jeep boards as F Bill.. and I will post on teh 2A page when stuff is ready to sell.

On that note I do have a bunch of old chevy plow trucks to dump if anyhone is interested.. 86, 89, 90......one western, one fisher, and some old plows..

Sell the truck boxes. I watched dozens of containers sell at a RB auction yesterday. They were mostly 48 and 53 footers but I don't think one sold for less than 2500 bucks and they were ROUGH.
It would cost you a fortune to move those things. Sell them and let someone else worry about it. Shouldn't be hard to sell.
