plymouth tractor

Not a tractor, but I knew a fellow who had a couple of Plymoth pickup trucks, 40's something models. He said they were only produced for a year or two.

Built by the Faith Root Heath Co. here in Plymouth Ohio. Later they had to call them Silver Kings.

Went to a big reunion show they had years back in Plymouth Ohio. There sure were alot of silver tractors around. I'm not too awful far from there 45 min. ? But you didn't really see that many of them around ? I had a larger 3 wheel model one time. They do go fast on the road--too fast ! Kinda seemed unstable bouncing around so I was chicken and didn't even open it up all the way.

I have one and need to sell it, before my father passed away he told me it was worth $25000.00. Now I have to sell it to pay for the funeral and taxes. What do you guys think?

It just might be worth that to a serious collecter. You'll never know until you advertise it.

I have not seen your tractor, but from what they were selling for before, that decimal is in the wrong spot. $2,500.00 is likely more what it is going to be.

Put it on ebay and it will bring what it is worth.

about 3 yrs ago here a local guy passed away and they auctioned his collection. The two highest valued sales were a Plymouth tractor and a GrahamPaige tractor. If I remember correctly they both went in the low $20,000's, each. I do remember posting here the sales price when I got home that day because it was so high.

I think I have seen them for $15,000 so he probally is not to far off. Keep in mind that a married guy has a better chance of getting that tractor cause there so darn cute. :)

Not to flame you Mike but I will buy every Plymouth tractor you have for $2500.

If Marks tractor at least runs it should be in the low 5 digits. Not saying I like the fact but the Plymouth is a rare bird and the rare ones are bringing a premium now.

Hey, I have a Plymouth Pick Up Truck too! Of course mine is about 40 years newer, but still the real deal. Gets lots of looks and head scratching. It's a 1980 model, and is actually a Mitsubishi that was built for Plymouth. They made them a couple of years and then they changed over to Dodge and became the Dodge D50 which were very popular. I drive this little truck every day and it gets great mileage and takes a beating without complaints. The downfall is it's nearly impossible to find parts for it. If you look closely in the second picture, you can see the Plymouth on the tailgate. You can google 1980 Plymouth Arrow truck and see some other pictures of them.
