Chevy wiring

I am going to be installing a CB radio in a buddy
s truck, I'm not sure where to get power for the unit at. His truck is a 1996.

In my 94 Chevy there is a block located under the dash that you can get hot power from, with some accessory and some " always on" male connectors.

Now for any of you that have experience with the newer style of the C/K's where would be a good place to get power from, I know that I can come direct form the battery but I want to avoid that if possible.

Where can I get power from? Thanks for the help

On my '96 chevy, there is a relay box on the left fender well, under the hood. There is an always hot there for sure. Not sure about a switched there though. Greg
