I am trying to find some type of wiring schamtic for a switch I"m trying to use for my Ford 2N. The switch, however, came off a IH mid-70's tractor I found as salvage.

The switch is an Indak, and it has patent number 2868906. The switch has 6 terminals in the back; they go starting from the top...

like a pyramid.

The switch is rotary, and is 4 postion (off, then 3 separate denents)

I'd like information on how this switch can be wired. Running some voltage tests and I find several potential shorts, so I don't know how to wire this switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try playing around with ohm meter or test light to establish an ''input'bat term. this should feed other terms. in order of switch positions--look @ terms. & see if 1 or more is strapped together--easy once you have found the + input post---just use the functions you need--good luck--paul
