What is this thing.

A friend of mine gave me this picture to see what it was. It belongs to a friend of his he picked it up in ND.

According to the grease cup on the axle, it is upside down. Looks like the front wheels for a horse drawn plow etc.
 
It could be a "grain binder truck", a set of wheels that was put under the hitch pole of a grain binder when it was pulled by hoses instead of a tractor. (Or was it the other way around?)

Here's a photo of a grain binder which does NOT show a "truck", but it may give you an idea of what I am talking about.

It's not from a horse binder. The wheels and frame are too heavy built. At least it's not original equipment one. All binders had to have a truck on front to be moved whether by horse or what ever. Made a few miles on them years ago.
 
It's the front wheels to a horse drawn single section disk . The tongue fasten to one side and the disk is connected to the other side. I have two sets of the wheels and one oliver disk behind the barn
