my 1570 is on the chisel plow and might molboard 25 acres of stalks with it, 1070 is hauling corn, 830 ck is hooked to the spreader right now, SC is on the dry corn auger and the 830 com will probably get hooked to the other spreader to finish cleaning yards, later the 830 com will be on the post hole auger if the weather holds

830 CK is doing loader duty. It has a spear on the front and a fork on the 3pt for feeding cattle. Will be parked in the shed for winter soon, as I'll be using either the 170 Allis Chalmers with a heathouser or the 886 International with heated cab for feeding when it gets colder.

My cx-100 is pulling wagons and my "L" is on the wet corn auger. The L is a hand crank start so I usually start it in the morning and leave it run all day between loads.

The DCs going to thread a few down trees out of the woods then be put away till its time to bushhog next year.

Mine are parked until mid January when some of them go to the local toy and implement show. The VC is parked indefinitely due to a little altercation it and I had on September 12. I came out second best.

My 870 is taking it easy and getting a new set of intake/exhaust gaskets. Is not a fun project. I may use it for baling cornstalks when she is read for work, but being a new to me tractor , I want to go through everything and relube and filter it. Exhaust gaskets were completely gone, gonna have to reface the ex manifold as it was a bit pourous.

My little SC seems to find some work the year-round. Tomorrow it's going to be putting wagons away in the shed. After that it's anybody's guess. She's one of the most dependable tractors on the farm. Jim

My 1943 SC which my dad bought back in the fifties is sitting in a corner of a shed looking rather sad. If I get time this week I might pull out the spark plugs, say its time for your cod liver oil and give it a little treat of ATF to see if that will loosen up its innards.

The 430 andn 530 are parked for the winter with the hayrakes still on them. The 730 has a winch on it that I drag out a locust tree for firewood occassionaly. I will probably put hole diggers on it at sometime over the winter and dig some postholes. The little VA is hooked to a pto type wood splitter where it will set out side for the rest of the winter. Rain or snow, it will start every time I want to split wood. The little 300 round nose has a carrier on it that I use to carry firewood to the basement. Will carry enough in one trip to last about a week and a half. The VAC is in the shop getting a new facelift. Hopefully I can put it in someones barn next spring for a little trading money.

A few of these pictures are from last fall and winter but their chores will be the same.

V got a set of front tires today and is used mainly for hauling firewood from the woods.430 resting from raking hay and will be used with backblade for snow removal. 1942 VC, DC-4, 530 military, 900, and VAI jsut reposing and taking up barn space. LA, S and VAIW are waiting for next year show season. 320 dozer to help clean in the woods and push big snow drifts. !942 VC is in the shop waiting for engine block to come back from machine shop and finish complete restoration... Gene

My 400B (441) is sitting in the garage with the back blade and tire chains on it waiting for some snow.

The 800 is finally running. A few more tweaks and finishes it will be ready to go out and bring in wood and tend Christmas trees. May disk a bit for a friend and bush-hog for another friend just to test her out. Only took 7 years!

My 930 is just back from overhaul, sleves ,piston heads done and injectors, and trying to earn its keep pulling the spreader. Runs like a top and should for along time. 730 is resting easy in the shed till spring, and its most common job, hooked to the old 488 NH haybind. VAC 14 has not made it out of the shop yet from extensive restoration work, don"t think it will ever earn it"s keep , but it was my dad"s and I Haveto keep it as Just looking at it I can still see the old boy out doing what he loved to do , farming.
