REAR DIFFERENTIAL LOCK 2030 TRACTOR

By chance is the actuator rod still there. And somebody just removed the handle due to the mechanism being seized tight with rust?

BUICKANDDEERE,

ALL I SEE ON THE TRANNY IS A BOLT OR PLUG WHERE THE HEEL PEDAL WOULD GO.
I HAVE NOT TAKEN ANYTHING APART. THERE WAS ONE ON THE LOT, THAT HAD THE DIFFERENTIAL REAR LOCK, JUST LIKE IT BUT IT DIDN'T HAVE HYDRAULICS IN THE BACK...SO I DIDN'T PURCHASE IT. WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS THE SHIFT GEAR ALREADY ON THE DIFFERENTIAL SHAFT. IF THIS IS THE CASE THEN ALL I HAVE TO DO IS PURCHASE THE SHIFT YOKE, SPRING ,DOGS,SHAFT AND PEDAL, ETC. I HAVE THE SERIAL #141971T AND TYPE P5R3C MADE IN IOWA.

Ok, #1 typing in all caps is yelling, please try not to.
It would have way cheaper and quicker to have purchased the tractor with diff lock. Then added the hydraulics from a common as dirt donor tractor.
Without diff lock I could not have ploughed or ripped my clay fields with 2WD.
The JD parts section of the Deere web site lists all the parts.
Off hand I would deal the turkey for another tractor with diff lock. Sometimes a 40,50 or 55 utility tractor with 4WD can be found.
