Hey Chris,

When are you guys gonna just get rid of classic view?
ort of have same question, BUT Classic is sometimes necessary to figure out who is replying to whom AND I sure like the visible IP addresses! Maybe get them to show in Modern and have best of both worlds!! :D

Probably about the same time they get rid of all the long time members....
I know that's all it would take for me to leave at this point. Modern view, for lack of a better description, SUCKS.

You must not frequent many other forums. Almost all I frequent use the same style.

It would be too bad to lose some long time members, but you may stick around simply because the quality of the conversation will improve when trolls and cowards can no longer use guest status to make multiple pseudonyms in classic view.

The only thing that has ever bothered me on this forum in terms of trash is the spam that seems to flood in from time to time.
I could care less about what anyone else posts on here. It's their opinion. If I disagree I'll argue with them. If I can't be bothered, I ignore it... and to ingnore it, I much prefer to have a threaded forum interface like classic view so I can follow the cronology of the posts and ignore it easily.
I don't bother with most of the 'other' forums you talk about that all use the newer software because I simply can't stand the interface. When I can't see who I'm replying to, or who replied to me, I really can't be botherd.
I spend more time on AgTalk now, again where they use a threaded type interface. Actually, it seems to allow both styles similar to this without the drama... and without the CONSTANT removal/policing of threads like we have here.
