Any LP Experts?

I have a small Clark forklift on LP that makes water when running. It sounds like it has a hole in the muffler which you can't see and it drips water out when engine is running. Is this normal problem for Lp gas engine? I know it is not coming from the cooling system because coolant level is always the same and it is clean. Thanks for any help.

Water is created any time you burn fuel, be it gasoline or propane. Usually the exhaust system heats up quick enough to evaporate the water so you never see it. Let it idle after a cold start in cool weather and the exhaust system may remain cool enough to spit out some liquid water.

Many years ago I remember a shyster car dealer convincing a neighbor that his air cooled Corvair Monza had a bad head gasket, when the old fellow saw cold weather moisture dripping from the exhaust pipe.

Thank you all for the information. I wondered why there is so much water dripping out. Even the crankcase has water in it as well. I guess engine is to small and does not run enough to evaporate the moister.

I'm No LP expert...I'm looking for one too or at least a really good manual for my 4010 Propane tractor stuck in the field as I write. The above poster is right about moisture from the exhaust...But know this: water in your crankcase is NEVER good, is a bad sign and leads to worse problems if not removed/fixed. You may have a cracked block or some related problem if it is more than a very small amount. I think the above poster would agree that it is not normal, but I'm no great mechanic... I just get by and learn as I go.
