My almost new, 1995 TAFE 35DI arrived this afternoon. The Allied 395 loader seems to dwarf the tractor, but everything seems to run well.
The transfer of the 5' snowblower from my 1960 Massey-Ferguson 35 to the TAFE clone of the same model went very easily. All meaningful measurements are the same, and things slipped easily together. Of course the power steering and cab made snow removal a lot more comfortable. Working lights made it a whole lot safer after dark. The learning curve on the joystick for the loader is fairly steep for me, but I'll figure it out.
The dealer had to replace the radiator hoses and the diverter valve. He had the replacements in stock, parts for a Massey Ferguson 231.
So far, so good.
