it is a combine The guy standing on the tractor is the neighbor down the road the other man is my dad. They have both passed away .

that was an allis It had a foot clutch and hand brakes I remember tying to drive it. You needed long legs to reach to push in the clutch and one arm to steer and two arms to brake . That was actually my brothers tractor he is in the picture he was around 16 at the time .

Looks like a WC. We had one just like it, a 41 model. Wish I knew where it is today. Grandpa sold it when he got sick and stopped farming.

your 100% correct! It was a phiilys cigar and a beer in the other hand. I think I see a Miller bottle in his hand , that was my dads brand but the neighbor preferd Schimdts in cans . Over 40 years later and I still see some laying at the edge of the woods . When I see them I leave them right where they are It brings back memorys for me.

Now that my friend is a truly great picture. I have had similar times with my dad ,older brothers and neighbours during that wonderful care free time of youth.
