Wasn't a lot of days with sticking snow as a kid in SE OH so snowmobiles were kind of a stop everything and gawk occasion. We lived on the river and that's where the city folks would come to ride them. Ice wasn't real thick either. Guy stopped his pride and joy to get something hot to drink and went back to a hole in the ice. Hard to believe one can fly through the air like that. Cool pics.

In powder it doesn't hurt them too bad as long as the operator doesn't overrev them when launching.

The intermittent loads seems a lot better on them than constant lake running, a least theres a lot less seized engines than lake runners.

Since someone else brought it up, I'll indulge myself in my rant for the day.

Whyizzit that when there's a bit of snow on the ground, it seems everyone who owns a snowmobile thinks they have a God given right to run rampant all over everyone else's property? Apparently the concept of private property and trespassing has never occurred to them.

A couple of years ago, I walked out of my shop and almost got nailed by some bonehead going right through our yard about 40 mph. Also once during the deer season, I had a big buck I was ready to shoot ON MY OWN PROPERTY spooked by some idiot on a snowmobile.

I'm well aware snowmobiles can be a necessary tool for livestock feeders, etc. It's the clowns that look at them as a toy that give them all a bad name.

As I said, my rant for the day.

Looking goood! I am headed out here shortly to go do some trail riding with a couple of buddies here in northern MN. My tractor looks about like yours does in your pic too...have been using the 4 wheeler(same color as your sled) & snowplow to move snow this year, it has done fine so far. So the super c and loader just sits out by the shed covered with snow.

That Cats made for the mountians. She can handle whatever you throw at her.Lots of suspension,900 cc EFI engine with 159 inches of track. She will take you places you should'nt be.You realize that when it's time to go back down. Thanks guys for the nice words.
