Ford injector pump revisited

I posted yesterday about injector pump problems on my 3400 ford. After the replies we decided to open it up. Does anyone have any photos,schematics or know of a source of tech information? We know that the pump is getting plenty of fuel so the fuel is stopped up by a mechanical problem in the pump. I simply can't justify the cost of a rebuild on this old tractor. Help please.

I probably have it on my hard-drive, but you have to tell me what pump you have? A CAV or Lucas rotary? Model number? If a CAV and/or Lucas, if it quit after sitting a long time, it probably just has a stuck metering valve. 15 minute job to fix.

If you do a Net search, there's a free complete CAV pump repair manual in PDF file. It's for a British diesel taxi cab, but same basic pump and has all the info and pictures you need.
