Massey Ferguson 35 seat problem. Help Please.

I have a MF35 tractor which I use around the place here. It's not restored or anything, I don't know much about machinery.
Unnoticed by me, someone visiting tilted the seat backwards - I think they were being helpful, to drain rain off. (I didn't even know the seat could do this).
Anyway, now when I went to use the tractor and found this I put the seat down and it isn't level any more but pitches forward so it's not really possible to sit on and drive.

I've got no idea what's missing to make it level.

Can anyone help?

thanks
Rose

All you need to do is lift the front of the seat up just a little and pull it forward. There is a linkage on the top back of the seat that allows it to be flipped back out of the way. If you just flip the seat back forward the linkage stays tilted up in the back. Just pull it forward and it will fall back into place.

Thanks JD Seller. I had to take a hammer to it and give it several good whacks to free it up! Before reading your post I thought it was one immovable unit, except for the actual hinge, and that something had come adrift under the front edge of the seat.
Doh!

thanks again, very grateful

Sounds like we will make a mechanic out of you soon. You got the basics down. BIG HAMMER when in doubt. LMAO Glad to have been able to help.
