i have a 1957 wd 45. it idles great but has a terrible miss if you give it any throttle. it is progane powered. points and plugs are new
 
Bad coil?? Carbon track inside of the distributer cap? Have you checked the valve adjustment? Just a few things to ponder.

Might be a fuel delivery issue? Might also be one or two of those "new" plugs is no good. Wouldn't be the first time that a new spark plug is bad right out of the box.
 
I had issues with my allis CA missing and not running right. Took me a while to find the problem and it turns out that the distributor bushings where loose allowing the shaft to wobble. I got another used distributor that I couldent move back and forth with my hand. Running like new now. Its worth checking.
 
I had that problem this spring,while cutting stalks. changed points, plugs,and condenser, and still had it. grabbed a can of wd40 and sprayed around the intake gaskets, and there it was. went to napa, and ordered manifold gasket set, installed them, and tractor runs fine.
