I suppose he could've been, but I don't know how one could tell. I really think he was run over rather than dying of a sickness.
 
The old widow next door had a white bunny. One day the bunny came to me all dirty and dead in my dogs' mouth. I quickly washed and blow dried the bunny and put it back in her cage. That night she came screaming, " I buried him yesterday!!!!!
 
We were clearing brush and needles yesterday from where I cut down some spruce trees. Wife found 3 small baby bunnies in a nest under some pine needles where she had raked the stuff off the top. Piled a bunch of stuff back on top and around so the mother may come back. Unless they move them like cats do, they won't last long with the trees gone. Out cats get most of the young rabbits around there anyway. Foxes get the rest.
