Few Pictures, Cows and Frosted Corn

Nice and sunny out this morning after the frost last night so I snapped a few pictures.

Still feeding the cows. With some warm weather and a little more rain, I hope to put them on grass the end of this week.

My old 706 I feed with for a month or so when my loader tractor is hooked to the planter or spraying. Tonight it had a flat rear tire, split thru the side wall. Going to have to look for a used tire, sure not in the mood to dump $1500 in a set of tires for this old beast!

This field is my farthest along. Its a 4 acre field in a bottom that will always frost first. It was 28 degrees last night and this field is the only one to show any damage.

Only a little frost damage around the outsides of the field. Strange how one plant will be froze and the one next to it will be undamaged. Since the growing point is still under ground the frozen one should recover but it will be set back.

Funny, I wore the side wal out of a 18.4 34 on my 1750 this weekend, lost all the fluid, and the dual went as well. Thinking of going to 18 4 38's if I can find rims and and dual for it.

Look on craigslist for duals. I've seen quite a few pair lately.

Saw the same phenomena today, two plants spaced about 5 inches apart showed frost damage while the others on all sides were undamaged
