11x16 tire on a 7.50x16 rim???

Can I put a 11.00x16 on a 7.50x16 rim? Its on the front of my tractor. Just wanting to go bigger.

You could probably mount the 11L on your narrow rim, but it would be like a fat lady on a bicycle seat and more than likely won't clear the spindle. 11Lx15 whould match hight better and on an offset rim it may work. What brand and model do you have? 11Lx16s are usually on large tractors.

Is the rim actually 7.50, or is that the tire size currently on? Either way, it"s a bit small. Should be at least an 8 inch rim for the 11.00 and a normal fit.

I have no idea if it would fit, but a 10.00x16 may be a better option on a 7.50 rim?

I mounted a pair of 215-85 R16s on the same rims that I took 6.00 x 16s off of, so yes it can be done, and while it worked for me, there may be some issues, clearance problems, etc. on different applications.

I have the skinny rims on the deere 2755. They have the fat rims availible but I can get the 11x16 tires reasonble. My current rims are offset so I dont think clearane would be a problem. Just wondered if they would fit. I got 7.50 tires right now.
