OT Misleading

My wife and I have always called each other with either Mom or Dad. Go ask your Mom or what did your Dad say? So when I say Mom is in the hospital it is my wife not my mother. When we were first married sixty years ago we used our first names when the first child arrived that all changed. We always alway thought it disreptful for a child to call a parent by there given name. Different strokes for different people.

It's amazing how when they loose that respect for there parents they also loose respect for everyone in society.I can't imagen myself calling my parents by there first names.If I did that I would still (maybe not) get a back hand across the mouth.

I have always called my parents Mom and Dad. The only time I don't is when I'm talking to one of the grandkids and then I use "SuSu" which is the grandkids nickname for my mom.

Daddy left us almost 21 yrs ago. Its a shame the grandkids and great-grandkids will never know him.

I never stop missing him and I know James never stops missing his parents.
