NH 273 baler Timing

I'm not a "manual" fanatic, but you gotta get one if you're using a baler. Most machines simply won't work right if you don't adjust them properly- but a baler will destroy itself. Timing is especially critical- you need to look at the diagrams, not just depend on someone's (possibly erroneous) explanation on the internet.

Maual is the best friend here but that said. My NH271 has how to time it on a label on the twine box lid so you might look there and see if yours has that info there. If it does read and do as it says if not then the manual is the best way.

Assume you mean the chain that runs knotters tore. Corect timing will have needles points start to enter chamber as the plunger on compression stroke just passes needle points. If needles enter before that you will break needles!!
