Does it sound like my tractor (AC WD) is running "right

Thanks to you guys here, I got my carb cleaned out on my Allis Chalmers WD, and now the tractor seems to have more "umpf" to it. I reset all the carb jets to the manual specs and what Old suggested. Does it sound like it is running good to you guys that have a more attuned ear than me?

I'm mostly just pleased that when I open up the throttle, it doesn't sputter, cough, and sound like it is going to die.

It bounces along nicely in road gear now, too. And seems to have decent pulling power again.

Well since I have dial up I'll not even try to here it but glad that what I said seems to help alwqays try to do my best to help if and when I can

It was much appreciated, sir. I had cleaned out everything else from the tank to the carb and wasn't getting anywhere (I just thought I was getting low gas flow), but when I had the carb apart, the drain plug area was completely clogged, there was a lot of brown sludge in the carb, and the inlet was a bit sluggish and the place where the main jet goes to feed the tractor was almost completely blocked off. Now it's open and it fires right up and stays running!

Sounds like it should to me the WD usually has a little 'flutter' when not under load but should smooth out once it starts pulling.Spent many many hrs on WDs and WD45s

Thank you. Just glad to get a second opinion.

I put it on a one row pull-type disc and let her open up a bit and she sounded pretty good. Plenty of power and response.

Fairly common problem with he WD is bad manifold gasket. Sucks air and makes it run rough.

I actually just installed new manifold gaskets on it about... 5 years ago.
