Crazy Red Power in SE WI!

Here is a pic of my friend's 43 H Farmall with what may or may not be the same type of loader you have. I see he runs a Charlynn pump off the PTO and not the belly pump. Don't have a better pic.

Howdy Eric! It's close, but I don't think it's a Caswell. Sure is a neat setup. If you get more pics, let me know. I'm a fan of strange & unusual loaders. I'd also like to get a better look at the front. It looks real familiar. I just can't place it though. When looking down the loader from the seat, do the arms flare out from the tractor 'bout half way down? Wish I could think of what that is. Maybe someone else could chime in & tell us. Any takers?

Thanks for the pic.
Mike

I"ll see it in person this winter when I come home to God"s Country for my bi annual vintage snowmobile weekend, he is a friend with a pole barn full of old Sno Jets, Scorps, a Ski Whiz or two and some Evinrudes. Yes, I am a sad displaced Minnesota boy living in Georgia.

I do know the blade is made from a big piece of pipe, and that setup was on the tractor when he bought it many years back.

Georgia?! There ain't no snow in Georga! You poor man. :v(

I haven't heard of a vintage snowmobile gathering before. Sounds neat. I have a '72 Polaris Mustang, one-eyed with the 2-lunger, hiding in storage. It was my Grandpa's that he bought after retiring at A.O. Smith the same year. He used it to put-put around the farm. It's seen a trail once or twice. There's just a little over 150 mi. on it. Great sled! Blue & white with a red metal flake seat. Classic! I can't ride it much as I have a bad back & the sled has a fixed bogey. Once around the farm, twice a winter & a start up in the summer is all the workout it sees. The cover is original yet & the dolly was made for my Grandpa by my uncle. (I don't mean to come off as tooting my own horn. There haven't been too many opportunities for me to talk snow machines anymore).

If you could get some pics of the tractor, when you go, that'd be great. I'd like to see some of the old sled show, too.

Thanks,
Mike

I could talk snowmobiles all day long! lol I'm in Canada.
When I was a kid my Dad bought 2 used 1969 Polaris Mustangs. They had the single headlight, a huge single cylinder engine (well it seemed that way when I was young). The fuel tank was on the back and also acted as a backrest. It was like the luxury car version of the Polaris lineup as it had electric start, lots of storage both in the console and under the seat and even had a cigarette lighter in the dash! I wish we would have kept it as it would make a nice vintage machine.........kinda like an old tractor they were well built back then. Not fast or comfortable but solid!

Guys, try www.vintagesledders.com or www.vintagesleds.com and you'll find tons of vintage enthusiasts there.

In Waconia MN, near the cities, every January there is the largest vintage ride in a swap in the midwest. Like Sturgis for vintage snowmobiles. I am coming back for that this winter if I can!

I'll try getting better shots of the hydro pump mount as well as the loader setup when I can for ya!
