1986 John Deere 1050 4x4

I am looking at a 1986 John Deere 1050 4x4 to purchase and looking for some advice. The tractor is in great shape but does not have a loader. The seller is asking $6500 for the tractor.
Does it make sense to try and put an aftermarket or used loader on this tractor. It does not have power steering either.

Don't ever think of putting a loader on any tractor without power steering. My opinion. sj

Don"t pay that for a 1050- I"ve borrowed my neighbor"s 1250 (with PS and a loader), and its cumbersome. Putting a loader on a 1050 without power steering will stand out as one of your worst decisions. At that price, you can do better.
