Fall colors central NY - several homestead photos

I posted some photos yesterday from the central Adirondacks. Now I'm home (120 miles south) in central New York. Two days later - the leaves have changed just as fast here. Quickest leaf-change I've seen in 40 years. All was green last week. In fact, I'm still picking some late Silver Queen corn.

That is sure some pretty country! Looks like you've got a good store set by to keep you warm! It was cool here this am, down to 49 I believe.

Beautiful countryside! Does the barn in the first couple pictures have a special use? Maple syrup maybe?
