I.H.C. B414 Tractor

I just bought a B414 diesel with a front end loader. It will need repairs and I wondered how accessable parts are.

Don from Canada

Most parts easy to get, especially for the engine.
Diesel engine is pretty standard (BD-154). Gas engine (BD-144) is sort of an odd-ball in the USA since it uses many British parts. British-Zenith VN or VNN downdraft carb and British-Delco or Lucas distributor.

Many parts interchange between the B275, B414 and industrial 3414.

Good aftermarket parts support for much of it, and new parts available from either Case-IH or Mahindra. Also, there ought to be great salvage parts around Canada. Most that turn up here in the northern USA are trucked here from Québec or Ontario.

Just got a fuel pump from ImportTractorParts.net a few weeks ago for the B414. We also had to change all the spark plugs as the electrodes were mangled, but the tractor still ran, but poorly. Much better after tune up and new fuel pump.
This site is in eastern Ontario. Good luck

I bought two new fuel pumps a few months ago. Both listed for diesel (BD154) but also worked fine on my gas 3414 with the BC144 engine. Brand new at $25 each from a dealer that sells on Ebay.

I have no idea what the difference was at one time between the gas and diesel pumps. I took two orignals apart and the both seem to be exactly the same. Same diaphram, same casting #s, etc. Just have different fittings screwed into them. Granted, the hand-primer serves no purpose on the gas engine, but also doesn't hurt anything.
