Femco Weatherbreak

Has anyone constructed a top and back for a Femco or similar Weatherbreak Cab on a tractor? The Weatherbreak provides a lot of protection against wind and cold. However, plowing snow would be a lot more enjoyable if I could keep dry while doing it.

I suggest a sunshade for the top and placing a storm window behind the seat will take care of wind from the rear. I bungee an aluminum storm window to the ROPS. That way its tilted back enough to keep snow or rain off the window.

ROPS hadn't even been thought of when my tractors were built!!!! The big Deere doesn't even have a flywheel guard or electric. 2010 at least has fenders so the Weatherbreak is easier to mount on that.

Femco offers top/back kits, but not for their universal models. I'm trying to get info from Femco now on these kits and then will fabricate frame parts. Covering will be the easy part. Windows more difficult.

Also need to make some type of enclosure for the old Bobcat (a '61 model with no protective cage) as we now use that a lot to move snow and clean out.
