Can any one tell me where I can get a crank and conecting rod for a BS mobel 23cfb or a replacment motor

Try this link. Put in your engine model# and it should give you a parts list.("23cfb" doesn't look like a good model#).
Once you have the part#'s you need you can look up availabilty and price.

The engine is a 23C (F)Flange mount with (B)Ball type main bearings. Finding a new crank will be VERY difficult if not impossible. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CRANK YOU HAVE?

thanks for the info. The owener that I"m fixing the motor for ran it out of oil and seized the conecting rod to the crank. the conecting rod is now in three pieces and the crank is scored

You need to clean up the rod throw as best as you can and see if it's size is near standard. If it is near standard, you may be able to turn the rod throw under size. The crank pin is turned, if it can be turned, .020 inch under size. The 20 under rod is P/N 295362. I would check to see if this rod is still available before you see if the crank will turn.
