Allis Chalmers Tractor Differences

I have inherited a few Allis tractors and do not know what is what. I have one with a wide front that was supposedly a B but it has an ajustable front axle and not the fixed axle I am used to seeing on a B. The other two are either a C or a CA. One has the pan type seat the other the square type with a back rest. The wide front B I have has this same type seat as well. I also have not had the greatest luck at finding the serial numbers even though they are supposedly by the gear shift or being able to determine anything by them either. Can anyone tell me how to distinguish what models I have? Thanks.
 
The seat is not relevant, the bench is the standard Allis model and the other is a Monroe aftermarket seat. You may be able to take a rubbing with a crayon and a piece of paper to read the s/n. There should be a flat topped spot next to the shifter where it is stamped. Sometimes people combine parts of Bs and Cs to make one tractor. The C/CA rearend will be about 6' wide and the B will be about 5. The front ends get swapped out a lot according to the preference of the owner. A CA transmission has 4 forward speeds, B and C have three.

All CA's came with a pan type seat mounted to the center of the transmission top. The Monroe seats had brackets that used the top two final drive bolts on each side for the B's and C's.
 
An easy way to tell the difference between the B and C is the drawbars.
the B is the narrow round loop. The C is wider as in the picture.

You will find the serial number just ahead of the shifter as in the picture.

CA is 4 speed,C is 3 speed,CA has two lift arms on the back similar to a WD,CA has 6 lug rear rims that are most of the time power adjust type,C has 5 lugs and a cat iron center.99% of the CAs have a hand clutch on the right side of the seat
