OT computer print size?

My daughter came over last night to download a program on a Christmas present she gave me. She has much better vision than I do and changed to MUCH smaller print size but didn't change it back. I know about zoom in and rolling the wheel on the mouse. There's a way she showed me once before where you open a box to enlarge everything on the screen but I forgot where. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks,Jim

This is how I would do it on my Windows XP 'puter:
click Start > move mouse to settings > move to control panel and click > click display > select tab stttings > move screen resolution indicator.

This is how I do it.
First click on start button.
You will now see just to the right a list, find
"control panel" & click it.
The control panel box will open a list. Double
click on "display"
Now you will see "display properties box.
Across the top of it you will see tabs. One of
them say "settings" Click on it.
Now you will see button called "screen resolution"
Increase the pixels size of it, you slide the
button toward more. I have windows XP using
classic view control set-up. Hope this helped.
email mail me if you need to, I'll send it to you
in pictured steps.

on the tool bar at top of page you should see ( PAGE ) click on that and you"ll see text size click on largest

On the Tool Bar on top if you have Windows XP or others you should see a large and small A together in purple, this is text size.Smallest to largest text size will be shown, just click your choice. That is if you have chose for this button to be shown.JH

If you're using explorer... hit alt, then pull down 'view' and go to text size. Select 'larger'. This is assuming that she didn't change the monitor resolution...

Wow that is a neat trick! Thanks Buickanddeere, you learn something new every day ( Especially about computers! )

Jim,

What buickanddeere said below is great. I think that what your daughter was referring to is exactly like what buickandderre said except instead of using the plus or minus key, just hold down the Ctrl key and roll the roller on your mouse. It will do the same thing - make the display print bigger or smaller.

(quoted from post at 07:46:33 12/28/10) Hold the control button and tap the + button for
larger print and images.
Hold control and tap the - button to shrink.

Thanks to all for replies and to you b&d for the easy way for a computer dummy such as ME.
