whats it worth 1994 6640 ford new holland 4 x 4 power star 8 spd trans . bout 3000 hrs on it . just finished engine work includes crank turned new rod and mainbearing pistons rings valves and head done new clutch and pressure plate new fenders, tires 90% front and rear new paint and seat just wondering what market value is dont really see many of this model for sale thanks for any help

A simple 8 speed crashbox? That would tend to put it's value much to the lower end...
Why so much work on the tractor? Those problems are indicative of rather hard use or a lot more hours...
Without knowing more I'd hazard to guess that value will fall somewhere between 10-15K.

I agree with Rod. Cant see any way that clutch, pressure plate, crank turned, head work, fenders, seat and so on would have to be replaced at 3000 hours. Better look to see if someone has turned back the hour meter. How much undersize was the crank turned? Does it have new sleeves, or was it bored oversize? I would run. Tom

I agree with the others posters. That's a lot of repair n a 3000 hr tractor. Maybe it's a 13000 hr tractor instead of 3000 hr.

It has an electronic dash right? If so it must have had a problem and was replaced with a new zero hour assembly. That happened with my 8240.

... and it is very common for the tach/instrument clusters of those Borletti/Fiat contraptions to fail... Many people tolerate not having a good tach... some don't. End result is... as you suggest. A new cluster with 'zero' hours.
