Hard to tell some of you northern types about a pretty snow but Tennesse had from 4 to 8 inches last night of the wet fluffy stuff. Trees and every things else are covred. If I can get it posted here is the little d 2 sp in front of the shop and if you look hard you can see a two way plow in the rear.. both pretty old so they qualify for this poast.

A better person could not have answred. You post strings of photos at ease and I have spen over half the day trying to get that XXXX photo loaded. First my camera too too good a photo or took up too much memory so changed the resulition then still had problems but finally got it up. This is and unsuall snow in that we do not get that much but the trype of this snow was something else.. Stuck to everything. Thanks for the photo you post really enjoy the old barns. jm.

Since we are on a role on this posting photos lets see if I can get this old grader and cat 30.
Never have identified the grader but think the grader but think the dozer comes in about 1933.

I think the grader is an Adams. It matches the control wheels and structure of our 1920 leaning wheel model, but does not have the leaning wheels. Jim

Jan..From what litlle I know I think you are right. This is almost unbelivable but in somewhere around 1975 I did some dozer work cleaning up an elderly man,s farm. Growed up in the fence corner was this grader. He said when he came home from world war ONE his job was to pull the grader from town to the river ever day. The power was a fwd truck of sorts. Realy nothing but motor and wheels. Anyway know where the grader has been for about all of it,s years.
It is in like new shape and been in many photos.
Some day I plan to get the 30 on up in front of it.. Have a good one Jerry

jm. The bad part about being old is i can remember when they pulled the ditches and graded the country roads with just about the same rig as that one. I can also remember the staionary bailer that was fed by hand .

enjoyed the photos. Think there's something peaceful about a fresh covering of snow.

Really like the old dozers, too. I'd like to have a JD MC, but they're a bit pricey.

nice pictures, a friend of mine has a d-2 in pretty good shape, it ran before somebody decided to clean the mag, he wants me to see if i can fix it, im defenatly not a mag man, but he has all the manuels for it and ive done a couple and got real lucky [ they actualy worked] so we'll see
