Hi i bought a Case 1690 with powershift problems. First and third gears are the same speed. So I tested the pressures and they were low. So than I adjusted the control valve and got the pressures to the right spot. But it still was not right. So then I adjusted the break bands to see if it would change it. It did a little 3rd gear seems to go a little faster but not really. So wat do i do next?

If it was used with low clutch pack pressures then the disks/plates in the pack are more than likely bad. You will not find too many power shifts that have small problems when sold. The original owners usually try the easy stuff and then ships it when he finds out the cost. I would drain the oil and look an see if you have any thing in the sump. Usually there will be some fines in the sump but not big pieces.

If the pressures are right and it is not pulling right it is inside the trans.
