Can someone please give me specifics on how to removed the center of a tractor wheel and install it on a car wheel ? I have a Ferguson TO20 with the narrow tires and want to run wider ones on it. I have the necessary tools, plasma cutter, welder, etc...the wheel size is 3x19. What size car wheel would I need and what size tires ? Thanx for any info

A rim off of wagon will fit right on your Fergy. If your narrow rims are in good shape you can probably get more for them then you will have to pay for 15 inch rims.

I"ve done many rims where either the center is good, outer bad, or the other way around. I cut out both, weld the two good parts together. I watch for them on farm sale junk piles, often find for a buck...little bit of time, and a good rim for way less than $30-50 new. Usually 8 spot welds to drill out, hit with a BFH, pop apart. Rims are specific to centers and outer- ie, a 15 inch center fits only a 15 inch outer. Wouldn"t do that for a car, but fine for farm speed wagons.
